Before I came to London, I did a two-year Foundation course in Interior Design in Devon. My tutor there recommended Ravensbourne to me because it is quite practical. The teaching here is very different. There are not so many lectures and the tutors want us to learn by ourselves and learn how to sort out problems ourselves. I think that is the most important thing that I have learnt here. I used to do what the teacher says and now I can make decisions by myself. I like London and I love studying here. There are so many museums and also wide pavements whereas in Taiwan the pavements are very narrow. My plan now is to go back to Taiwan. I will work there for two years and then go to China and try to get into a big name architecture company.
